Hot Spots, Hot Baits!
Both bass and trout of very respectable sizes were hauled in this week. The top bass weighed in at 12.95 lbs and top trout was 14.64 lbs. The bass was caught on the lake at an unspecified location and the trout was from the pond. Other hot spots this week were trolling by the dam and down the Narrows. The trout pond continues to be strong. The favorite baits reported this week were power bait, night crawlers, spoon, wacky worms and lures.

Tempuratures in the upper 70's and low 80's all week. Mostly sunny with no rain in the forecast. Overnight temps in the 50's.Terrific Spring Break Camping Weather!
LAKE CONDITIONS
Lake Camanche's current elevation is 184,580 ft. above sea level. Water temperature at the launch ramps is approximately 58 degrees and the lake is 44% full. The inflow from Lake Pardee is currently 11 c.s.f. and the outflow from Lake Camanche is currently 247 c.s.f.

Trout Planted!
Thursday April 10th we received 1,200 pounds of Mt. Lassen Rainbow Trout at Lake Camanche. 600 lbs planted at the North shore ramp, and 600 lbs pounds were released at the South shore alternaitive ramp.

Lake CamancheThe Bass are biting! Spotted bass anglers at every corner of the lake where old vegetation was sticking up. Hot spots for trolling was for trout was by the dam and Causeway Cove.
