Trout Have Been Planted!
On Thursday, March 20th we will receive 1,200 pounds of Mt. Lassen Rainbow Trout at Lake Camanche. 600 pounds will be planted at the South Shore Low Water Launch Ramp, and 600 pounds will be put in at the North Shore Marina!

Sunshine and mid 70's weather all week for Lake Camanche! We are expecting to see afternoon temperatures in the low to mid 70's and overnight temperatures in the mid 40's all week long. A perfect spring week to bring your family to the lake!

Hot Spots, Hot Baits!
Same message different week...the fishing has been EXCELLENT so far this March. Anglers are consistently pulling in Rainbow Trout as well as some bass. Popular spots for boat anglers looking for trout is Big Hat Island, out by the dam, the North Shore buoy line, and upriver in the Narrows near China Gulch. Most anglers catching trout are dropping their lines anywhere between 10 and 30 feet down. The most commonly used baits this week are Orange Grubs, Rapala lures and Power Worms.

Bass anglers are tight lipped as ever so no baits to report to you this week.

The South Shore Trout Pond is still active and anglers are catching from shore, kayak and float tubes.



LAKE CONDITIONS
Lake Camanche's current elevation is 201.18 ft. above sea level. Water temperature at the launch ramps is approximately 57 degrees and the lake is 47% full. The inflow from Lake Pardee is currently 11 c.s.f. and the outflow from Lake Camanche is currently 206 c.s.f.
