The water temp has been around 62 degrees and the water elevation has risen to 295ft. There is about 2.5 feet water clarity. Light rain has not slowed down the trout bite. Trout are being caught from the shoreline near the Main Recreation Area the Pines. Boaters have been having the best luck at Rock Wall, Farrells Landing, Sandy Point, and Scow Canyon. Power-bait for the Trout such as Chartreuse, Rainbow and Garlic have been working as well as the Mice tails. Night Crawlers have been doing really well the past week. The water is muddy from the rains so using strong scented baits is best. The water is muddy from the rains so using strong scented baits is best. The Broken-Back Fire-Tiger Rapala, Mepps, and Kastmasters are being used to catch trout on the troll.
