FISHING REPORT
Don't forget that you can win a free 2014 Annual Day Use Pass! All you have to do is catch the largest fish by weight for the 2013 calendar year. Bring your fish to either marina store for a picture and weigh in to be eligible. One pass per fish type (Bass, Trout, Catfish, Crappie). See store or gate for more details.

We have another bass caught out of the main lake! Mauricio Jr. of Elk Grove caught a 5.92 lb bass near the North shore Blue Oaks campground while using a minnow diver. We have pictures of his catch and him releasing it on our Facebook page.

A big thank you to the Central Valley Anglers for their event at our South shore Saturday. They had about 50+ entries and 20-25 boats. Anglers at the event reported to be happy with the fishing conditions and their stringers presented at the weigh in. The top anglers reported that fishing with lures seemed to produce the best bites as opposed to using night crawlers and/or power baits. Good turn out, good catches, and a good time had by all.

Finally, we had Benny Rich of Elk Grove catch a 3 trout stringer with his largest fish weighing in at 4.96lbs while fishing off the North shore Day Use point using orange power bait. He was fishing early in the morning and was done by about 8:30am.
