The Trout bite has been off the hook at San Pablo Reservoir

Lake Hours: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Boats must be off the Water: 4:00 PM
Boat Launch Area is Open: 7 days a week with snacks and drinks available
Last Plant: 2,000 lbs. of catchable trout and 250 lbs. of Trophy Trout from Mt. Lassen on February 15th
Water Temperature: Around 51 degrees
The trout bite has been excellent. The best spots to fish have been the shoreline near the Main Recreation Area as well as Sandy Point and Scow Canyon. PowerBait, Chartreuse or Spring Greenhas worked well as has Mice-tails, the Broken-Back Fire Tiger and Kastmasters have all had their day.
