FISH PLANTS
Mt. Lassen Trout delivered 600 lbs to the South shore pond and 600 lbs to the South shore on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. The North shore ramp was not included in this delivery.

FISHING REPORT
The lake level is rising steadily due to the winter rains and snow in the Sierras. Top lining (10 to 15 feet) is still the way to go with power baits (garlic and rainbow being the favorites) as well as Kast Master lures, white glitter marshmallows, and night crawlers as baits of choice.

Regular angler Jim Eakin caught a nice 5.49 lb trout off the North shore day use area near the marina.
Nick and Zach Bernett from Elk Grove caught their limit of trout off the South shore using a worm and marshmallows. Their largest fish weighed in at 3.5 lbs.
