Sacramento River Striper Action

Sacramento River - CA

Phenomenal striped bass action continues on the Sacramento River, reported local guide Kevin Brock. "The striper fishing this week has just been incredible", enthused Brock. "On three separate occasions we had six stripers hooked simultaneously, and landed all six. Lots of fish are in the four to six pound range, but we also had two over 20 pounds this week. We are releasing all of the hens. We are getting all of our fish on minnow, but are seeing others getting fish on just about everything."

Brock added, "There are a lot of people on the river. The fish are mostly moving down past Tisdale, but this weeks' rain could turn them around. I expect another two weeks of solid action."
