Stripers remain right on track! It started out a little slow at the beginning of the week, with lots of small fish. However, as temperatures heated up so did the Striper bite. We finished out the week with fairly good numbers and much larger size fish. Good areas to try are between Boy Scout camp and above the narrows. Anchovies and shad was our bait of choice. Although we did have limited success with flukes and swim bait in the early morning. Surface water temperature by Saturday was 65 degrees. Big difference from Monday when temperatures were only 56 degrees. There are two boat ramps in operation with ample parking.
