Fishing has been great at San Pablo with a lot of nice fish being caught with an average of 3 lbs. on full stringers. There have been quite a few trout whoppers caught since opening day with the biggest fish being caught by Terry Piccardo weighing in at 9.25 lbs. in Scow Canyon and a 9 lb. trout caught by Phillip carter at the Pines. Both fish were caught through the use of PowerBait. Trolling works with a 7.5 and a 5 lb. trout caught by John Riley using a Kastmaster and a Rapala to bring them in. Shoreline fishing had been productive at the Pines and Oaks Point as well as other locations within the park. Bait fishing from boats have been finding them at Sandy Point, Bobber Beachm the Rock Wall and in Scow Canyon.

The boat launch area has been producing some nice fish also and with plenty of snacks and drinks you won't miss the action.
