Two striped bass were caught on Sat. Oct. 22nd, with the largest being 11.5 lbs. The big fish was caught using anchovies up by the dam. A large catfish was brought in this week; it weighed 5.5 lbs. using chicken livers. The catfish was caught at the south end of the lake. These were just some of the reported catches.
Off the banks you can still catch catfish, bluegill, crappie and black bass. To get to the striped bass and trout you have to use a boat to hit the deeper and colder waters. Fishermen are still reporting catching their limits, so there is always great fishing at Lake Del Valle.
