Danny Lane of Mother Lode Fishing reports that Lake Don Pedro, like her sister reservoir to the North (New Melones) the bite on Pedro is wide open for some very nice rainbow trout. Expect fish to twenty plus inches
and four pounds to fill your limit. Woods Creek arm, Six Bit area, Middle Bay and Fleming Bay all equally productive. Ex-Cel Castmaster, Triple Teasers, Apex lures in silver with a target depth from 25' to 40' for voracious feeding bows.
A few king salmon found in Woods Creek at depths from 60' to 100' on rolled shad, kings in the 16" range.
