Kevin Brock reported that the fishing this morning proved much better than yesterday, landing a double on our first practice cast. A full day's worth of limits+ of salmon were caught for 4 anglers, although 6 had to go back due to size restrictions, leaving 7 for the table.

There was a lot of action today, and tons of boats out. As the wind started to blow, in came the clouds, which kept it cool most the afternoon. The rain is expected tomorrow night.

The biggest fish was around 15 lbs. Even though the adult fish over 22" have to go back into the river, the fishing itself is great. Everybody is having a blast with this great salmon fishing on light tackle, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

The lower Klamath River fishing right now is very good, with limit style fishing on Kevin's boat. While larger salmon have to go back due to size restructions, it's still tons of fun catching them on light tackle!
