Kokanee bite remains smoking hot! Not only are we catching limits on every trip, but big shouldered fish in the 16 1/2 inch class. We started out at Glory Hole Point the first part of the week, progressed south from the spillway to the dam in the middle part of the week. Finally working South Islands to Bear Creek and Peoria at the end of the week. The big Koks are down 35 to 40 feet deep early morning, then moving down 50 to 60 feet by mid morning.

Uncle Larry's spinners, Vance's Hoochies, R&K Hoochies behind Vance's copper dodgers along with corn soaked in Pro Cure Garlic Plus produced a total of 14 limits this week. Expect some grass and debris as Malones continues to rise as much as 2 feet overnight.

The picture today shows what Wendy Raney of Stockton gave her Dad Ron Raney of Pine Grove a great Father's Day gift out on the water. The father/daughter dual landed this nice limit by 8:30 in the morning.

Picture 3 Young Jake Slaton flew in from Idaho to be with his Dad Steve Slaton of Manteca on his first fishing trip. Jake landed this good looking Kok just like the pros. Picture 4 Steve and Justin Young of Visalia along with their friend Frank Hall of Visalia had a great time catching Kokanee once they got the hang of it.
