Lake Don Pedro

King Salmon bite is excellent, with lots of action! However, 99% of them are running 12 to 15 inches. The small Salmon are anywhere between 20 to 100 feet deep, mostly in the deeper depths. Ex-Cel's, Sockeye Slammers, Uncle Larry's new black and white spinner, Slim Fins or frozen shad is working great. Fleming Bay or Middle Bay are two good areas to try.

In all my years of fishing Don Pedro, I have never seen so many small Kings. Which will later insure we have more quality fish. Maybe, the Salmon fishery is returning to what it was in the 80's and early 90's, when fishing for big King's was at it's best!

Thank You,

Try using Uncle Larry's spinners with night crawlers, shad pattern Slim Fins and Excel's...... Read More

Rolling anchovies and shad pattern lures laced with Pro Cures anchovies scent brought the best action. The fish seemed to be extremely scattered and are still on spawn. Water temperatures has also fell to 72 degrees. Were looking forward to next weeks fishing,...... Read More
