The lake remained near 20 percent of its storage capacity, and trout anglers reported some decent stringers of fish. Anglers reported fooling rainbows using Powerbait, minijigs, Kastmaster, and spinners. Bass remained deep last week, and anglers used drop shot and spoons to boat fish. A “dead stick” approach was an effective way to get bites. Bass were holding from 20 to 50 feet deep. Catfish ate sardines, anchovies, and dip bait. A trout plant was scheduled for the week of January 19.
