The water level fell to 14 percent of the lake’s storage capacity, and fishing has been decent for small bass. Largemouth took curly tailed grubs, drop shot, and Ned rigs on main lake points in 10 to 30 feet of water. A-rigs worked for bites in the 10-to-20-foot zone. Crankbaits were effective near rock structure. Crappie reports were slow, but some decent catfish were reported by anglers soaking SSS dip bait

California Aqueduct: Aqueduct anglers reported fair striped bass fishing overall with some better reports in the mix

Castaic Lake: Castaic fishing was hampered by high winds with launching frequently prohibited
Pyramid Lake, CA: Bass anglers targeted protected coves for decent results
Lake Isabella: This week Isabella Lake held at 26 percent of capacity
Kern River: Anglers have been faring well with limits
Lake Kaweah: The lake level held close to 8 percent of its storage capacity, and fishing has been fair
Lake Success: The lake fell to 16 percent of its storage capacity, and fishing has been good
River Walk Lakes: The first trout plant of the season by DFWL is scheduled for the week of November 17th
Ming Lake: The bass bite has been steady
Buena Vista Lakes: Cooler weather slowed the bite
Hart Park Lake: Anglers reported cold water and lethargic bass at Hart Park
Lake Nacimiento: Bass anglers reported good weather and decent fishing
