Success Lake dropped to 27 percent of its storage capacity, and this is the place to be if you like consistent action on smaller grade largemouth. Drop shot, Ned rigs, and shaky heads all worked in the 10 to 20 foot zone with watermelon red flake, The Peoples Worm, and Margarita Mutilator all getting bites. Crankbaits and jigs took better fish near the trees. Catfish were reliable for night anglers soaking dip baits and chicken liver.
