The lake fell slightly to 91 percent of its storage capacity, and fishing has been good. Bass anglers reported spring conditions with spotted bass taking darter head grubs, drop shot, and shaky heads in 5 to 35 feet of water. Senko style baits, crankbaits, and small swimbaits also fooled fish. White bass went after small white swimbaits on ball head jigs, spoons, and spinners. Catfish ate dip bait and garlic scented nightcrawlers, and crappie anglers fooled fish with minijigs over submerged brush and rock piles.
