The lake level dropped to 58 percent of capacity, and water temperatures continued their fall decent as well. Bass anglers reported decent fishing for spotted bass in 10 to 25 feet of water. Drop shot, Ned rigs, and small jigs all scored bites with dark green, brown, and purple colors producing for anglers. White bass took white in-line spinners and spoons on the troll or cast, and catfish ate cut mackerel, chicken liver, and dip bait on the Carolina rig. Crappie anglers used minijigs to fool the tasty panfish over submerged structure.
