Nacimiento fell to 86 percent of capacity, and spotted bass anglers reported a decent finesse bait bite. Most of the fish held in 10 to 25 feet of water, and they fell for drop shot, Neko rigs, and small jigs. Deeper bass took spoons near shad schools, and weightless Senkos fooled fish up shallow. Aaron’s Magic, Ox Blood, and Green Pumpkin all scored bites. White bass took in-line spinners, spoons, and topwater offerings. White bass anglers also reported occasional boils throughout the lake. Catfish fell for anchovies, dip bait, and fresh shrimp, and crappie anglers fooled fish with small live shiners and minijigs.
