Lake Nacimiento remained near 27 percent of capacity, and bass anglers reported another week of excellent fishing. Spotted bass went for just about anything anglers threw. Drop shot, Ned rigs, jigs and crankbaits worked well but Senkos, darter head grubs, and topwater worked equally as well. White bass fishing picked up on shad patterned swimbaits, white spoons, and topwater baits. Trollers also reported good white bass action. Catfish anglers fooled them with cut anchovies, and dip bait. Crappie and bluegill have been eating minijigs and live worms closer to shore.
