Success Lake rose slightly to 35 percent of capacity, and bass are in full spawn. Anglers used drop shot, Ned rigs, jigs, and Senkos to land plenty of largemouth. Bass have been holding from shore out to 25 feet deep with bigger models taking jigs in deeper water. Small swimbaits fished parallel to shore worked well also. Catfish anglers used chicken liver, dip bait, and nightcrawlers for bites, and crappie went for minijigs near the marina.
