Kaweah Lake held at 13 percent of capacity, and trout anglers reported decent fishing last week. They used dough baits, Pinched Crawlers, and lures to fill stringers. Bass anglers didn’t fare as well. In fact, bass fishing has been flat out tough. Anglers reported using drop shot, Carolina rigs, and jigs in deeper water for bites. A slower presentation has been important for enticing bites. Catfish went for cut baits and chicken liver near the marina.
