Mostly good fishing this week. Only one day we heard of no one catching a thing. Some really nice channel catfish were caught all over 10 lbs. a beautiful 5.3 lb. bass was caught off the dock in front of the marina using red worms, he was just bluegill fishing with the kids and landed a big largemouth. Not hearing of anything on the trout but have been told they will stock again after the first of the year.

Quite a few decent Catfish were caught this week on cut baits. Senkos grabbed the attention of some 3.5lbs. plus largemouths. Somedays the crappie were on and some they were off but bright colored soft plastics seemed to be better then neutral colors. Lake level is around 55% Bass, redear, and blugill were the most talked about this week. Best bait seems to be a live redworm or nightcrawler. Some top water action in the early morning and late evenings for the largemouth. Couple catfish going for mackeral just slow to take the bait.
