The weeds along the shore line are back heavily and the water clarity is not the best. Lake level is around 63%. Bass and panfish were the most talked about this week. Best bait seems to be a live red worm or nightcrawlers. Some top water action in the early morning and late evenings for the largemouth. Couple catfish going for mackerel just slow to take the bait. Some green pumpkin and purple/pink roboworms hitting well. Buzz baits in the cooler parts of the day.

Decent bass hitting off rocky points or in the shallow cove areas. Lake level holding at 62% with very thick weed line surrounding its edges. A few catfish nabbed with nightcrawlers, best one was only 4 pounds. Senkos and top water baits have been a trusty choice. I haven’t heard of a trout catch in a couple week, water may be too warm. A bunch of sightings for a baby and medium sized black bear. ...... Read More

Trout have really slowed down with the heat waves. Drop shot a roboworm is the best overall advice from many. ...... Read More
