Incredible Week For Bass & Crappie

This week was incredible for bass and crappie. Tons of anglers catching their limit or at least what their hearts desired. Every crappie filleted was at or over a pound and the bass were very active. Chatter baits, small spoons, soft plastic jigs with weighted heads, tiny flukes and 4” flicker shads were the buzz. Catfishing has taken a turn for slower results and smaller sizes. There is a change of rain this week that could make for a greta weekend of fishing.

We are in pre-spawn this week. Tons of angels caught their limit of smaller bass in less than 15 feet of water. We heard about pumpkin colored lizard soft baits, gold and white rapalas, dark sparkly senkos and speckled trout colored hard plastics being successful.
