The bass at Stampede Reservoir are fattening up for the colder months ahead. They are biting well off the shoreline or near the dam. Cutthroats are also biting well. The cutthroat stocking program is really starting to pay off. If anglers are looking for Kokanee, they won’t find much luck here. Shore anglers should try using black and green rooster tails, cripplures, or crawdad patterns. Anybody trolling should try using rapalas, humdingers, needle fish, or speedy shiners.
