The boat traffic has calmed down, so fishing is improving! Trolling or igging for macks is still popular here. Macks are being caught in the shallower waters now because of the cooler water temperatures. Anglers focusing on Kokanee could try fishing with flashers and pink hoochies, but Kokanee fishing season is slowing down here. Shore anglers fishing for rainbow trout should fish with powerbait and worms. Donner Lake is currently at 80% capacity.
