Shasta Lake trout fishing report!
Shasta Lake - Shasta Lake, CA (Shasta County)

Website
Shasta Lake continues to produce rainbow trout, brown trout, and some King salmon daily. Tougher bite the past few days and its been tough to fish past noon with the 100+ degree heat, but most days are ending well. Still very few Shad around which is surely overshadowing what is normally a precurser to a good bite. I'm sure we're looking at a big bite real soon, but time will tell. Its already been lights out during several of our trips this spring and summer. Shasta Lake is definitely worth fishing and I'll continue to keep NCFR followers up to date with the latest reports. Thank you!
