Whiskeytown Lake is turning on quickly and the Kokanee salmon fishing is quite good. An unexpected number of big spawning class Kokanee have emerged in Whiskeytown Lake and Kokanee up to 18" have already been caught. I had a chance to fish with the Pautzke Bait Co. team two days ago and we had a great time catching some really fat kokanee salmon. I'll be writing an article on how to fish for Whiskeytown Lake Kokanee this weekend so stay tuned to my social media pages, NorCal Fish Reports, and on my website @ jeffgoodwinfishing.com.
