The Sacramento River in Redding is in great shape and is producing some great catch and release rainbow trout action for our clients.  Justin fished the Sac again today and as the pics show, his guys had a blast.  Salmon roe cured in Pautzke BorX O Fire makes awesome trout bait and we're also seeing a good bite on artificials.  We'll also pull small plugs or even drift Dick Nite spoons to get these trout to bite.  Fishing will get better and better as summer moves along.  Dont forget, the upper section of the Lower Sac above the SR 44 bridge opens August 1st.  Theres some really good fishing up there when it does open so if your looking to get in on that action give me a call or shoot me a message!
