Old man winter returns to Shasta!

Shasta Lake was not the same lake we're used to fishing this time of the year. Howling winds, heavy rain, and cold air temps made for an interesting day for sure. I wasn't prepared for todays weather and neither were todays clients. We got cold and we got wet, but we also caught some nice rainbow trout today. Quite a few bass were caught and several rainbows kept us a bit busier than we've been in the last week on Shasta. We found trout up the Sac arm and we found our last fish in front of No Name Island over the deep water channel. Trolling spoons, rolling Shad, and a few other baits got us enough bites to keep the day interesting. All the trout came from the 30' depth range again today.
