The Sacramento River Striped bass season is well under way and since flows from Shasta have been ramped back, the Striper fishing in the Colusa area has really taken off! I have a few boats working in the Colusa area and its been automatic limits for both boats on every trip. We still have a solid 3 weeks of great fishing left and as we approach the second half of the season, we're going to start to see some really quality Stripers. As soon as the majority of the big females spawn, the Stripers will start to make their way back down stream. Until then though, its just going to remain very good fishing. I have several available dates open in May so if you havent had a chance to book your Striper trip, now is the time!
