What a way to spend your wedding anniversary with an epic big trout fishing trip. Valerie surprised Andy with today's trip now that is a keeper wife huh haha. Andy thought he was going to concert but knew something was up when Valerie said they had to leave 430 am. The pictures and videos say it all and Epic pretty well sums it up in one word.

Shasta Lake continues to pump out Hog Trout on a daily basis. Andy and Valerie both landed multiple Trout over 5 pounds. Valerie won a fierce battle for big fish honors with a monster Brown Trout that smashed a Yo-zuri pins minnow. All of today's Trout were caught while Trolling Sep's Dodgers at 100 to 115 feet deep and the pins minnows were coated in Pro-Cure Carpspit. 

Now is the time to get on Shasta Lake. The bite remains hot and 20 fish days are the norm. Big trout are being caught every trip and these are wonderful eating fish.
