Loch Lomond received a 2,000 pound plant of Coleman variety trout last Thursday, and as may be expected, the fishing got pretty good. Staff members Carl Becker and Bruce Worden saw quite a few limits come in over the weekend, and a number of full stringers since. Worden says the bass bite is slowly beginning to improve as the largemouth come off their spawn. Most exciting for the staff are the "clouds" of bluegill fry visible in the shallow coves, which could indicate a good season for these feisty little gamefish this summer.
