Facilities manager Bruce Worden says the trout fishing has been very good at Loch Lomond lately. "We've had 12,000 trout planted in the lake since February," Worden says. Most are good-sized planters in the 12-14 inch range, though a few of the planted fish are bigger, and holdover fish, planted last year, are currently in the 17-20 inch range. "There's not a day goes by where we don't see limits coming from the lake," Worden enthused. He adds the bass fishing is very slow right now, as the largemouth are spawning and sitting on their nests.
