Mike Daly at Loch Lomond says fishing for trout is "very good" this week. The DFG planted 2,000 pounds of trout in the lake last Friday, and Daly has seen good stringers since, with a mix of planters and holdovers in the 15-18 inch range. A good number of limits were reported on Monday and Tuesday at the lake. Daly adds that fishing for bass is heating up as well. The fish are in pre-spawn mode now, so hunt for them in the shallows near the banks of Loch Lomond.
