Loch Lomond will receive another trout plant this week. Fishing has been consistent at the lake since opening day on March 1, and should continue for a while, as the water stays cool through June.

Ernie's Casting Pond in Soquel is hosting a fly-fishing seminar for anglers who want to improve their fishing skills. Taught by Bill Lowe and scheduled for April 12, the seminar will cover casting techniques, fly-fishing knots, equipment and lure selection.
