Anthony of Union City caught two rainbow trout left of the beach area, both about one-and-a-half pounds. One was caught on Powerbait and the other was on a Panther Martin.

Jason McMahan of Union City caught his personal record largest trout! It weighed eight-and-a-quarter pounds! He was using rainbow Powerbait and was fishing from the back side of the Peninsula.

Fernando of Fremont caught a rainbow trout that weighed eight-and-a-half-pounds. He was using rainbow Powerbait and was fishing from "The Point."

12-year old D. Tobias of Oakland, with the help of his friend E. Bettencourt, age 14 of Castro Valley, caught a 7.51-pound rainbow trout using a Kastmaster! They were fishing in the Kiosk Cove.

Andre Mull of Hayward caught a five-pound trout using green Powerbait in the back side of Horseshoe Lake. He also caught (and released) four MONSTER catfish! The two largest weighed 12.48 pounds and 13.58 pounds!!! He said he used his secret bait.
