Fly action coming to life at Davis

Lake Davis - Portola, CA (Plumas County)

by Nor Cal Fish Reports
6-10-2015

Damsel fly hatch began over the weekend. There are also blood midges and calibaetis. There have been good days at Cow Creek and Jenkins for fly fishers. It’s a morning bite. Trolling for trout is improving a bit, but still rated as slow. Shore fishing also is slow. Guide Ed Dillard (530) 832-6394; JJ’s Grizzly Store (530) 832-0270
