: Live minnows are the hot bait for both bass and trout. Bass are taking the jumbo minnows, trout like the medium minnows. Bass are 20 to 15 feet deep. Some are on beds. The Rogers Creek shoreline has been productive for trout and crappie but it's a long walk. Crappie like white jigs, trout like 1-inch minnows or lime green Power Bait. Bait Barn (209) 874-3011
