Sacramento River from Grimes down finally has small schools of striper moving upstream. Bass average 5 to 10 pounds. Most boats averaging 2 to 6 fish. . Sturgeon fishing continues to be excellent from Verona to Colusa and above with ghost shrimp, pile worms, nightcrawlers, frozen grass shrimp, mud shrimp.
