A foot of snow stuck early in the week but all should be clear by the weekend. Fly fishing is excellent at the north end of the lake near Mosquito Slough and nearby weed beds. Wooly buggers work best. Trout to 20 inches are being caught and a lot have good girth. Trolling with wooly buggers get fish from the shallows of the channel and near the big island. Wee Dick Nites also work well. (530) 832-0270
