Sturgeon fishing is very good in the muddy water near Hood to downtown Sacramento. Eel and pile worm or eel and ghost shrimp are good baits. Stripers have arrived and are migrating along the edges of the bank. Pile worms, blood worms or sardines get stripers to six pounds.  Freeport Bait (916) 665-1935
