The fishing has been great at the lake. Reports of the north end having open water. The north end of the lake, Lunker’s, Nightcrawler Bay, Turkey Point, and Crystal Point, have open water. Fishermen can fish from shore. Most are using nightcrawlers and/or power bait. Some are using marshmallows.

        Big Cove has open water, and some fishermen have been catching their limits. The dam still has ice, about 7 to 10 inches. There are some ice patches on the lake, but they are isolated, the lake is mostly open water.  (530) 993-4683
