Still a good crappie bite. Difficult to get to the larger crappie though, as they are usually found beneath the smaller ones, who usually get the bait. Crappie jigs with a Berkley crappie nibble in white seems to be the right combo for good numbers of crappie. Still catching quite a few small mouth using plastic worms, while bait fishermen seem to prefer meal worms.

Fishing has slowed somewhat with the heat, early mornings and late evenings are the best, with fly fishermen using rusty spinners, callibaetis spinners, PMD's, little yellow stones, pheasant tail nymphs, emergers, all with fairly good results most days.
