The trout bite is good and are being caught near the shoreline at the Main Recreation Area, Pines, the Tower and across the other side at Sandy Point, in Scow Canyon and from the shoreline near the boat launch area. Green Pumpkin, Chartreuse and Spring Green PowerBait have been working well. As have Mice Tails, Broken-Back Fire-Tiger and Panther Martins have been working for those who like to troll.

The Bass bite has picked up for people using drop-shots. Catfish have started biting on nightcrawlers, Anchovies and Shrimp at the boat launch shoreline area.
