No rain in the forecast again. Look for some clouds, gentle breezes and temps in the 60's and 70's.

Bank fishing has been ok during the week but will pick up with this morning's plant. The most productive spots continue to be behind the EBMUD boathouse, Rainbow and Blue Herron Point and the launch ramp. Most anglers are using chartreuse or rainbow Power Bait (eggs or worms) with garlic and glitter. Pistol Pete's and the latest craze, Mouse (mice) Tails, in addition pink Power Worms on a water bobber has been successful lately. Blue/silver Kastmasters are also hot right after the plant.

Trollers continue to concentrate in Columbia Gulch and upriver areas and are pulling out some nice Trout. The fish are still at 10 to 18 feet and most boaters are using night crawlers behind medium flashers and dodgers. No word on any Kokanee or German Browns this report but some will show up soon. Check at the Marina for all your fishing supplies, snacks, updated fishing information and hot spots.

Bass fishing continues to be good along exposed rock edges along the shore, sounds like spinner baits are the ticket.

Water level is about 15-18 feet below the spillway and rising, water temperatures still in the upper 40's low 50's at the Marina this morning.

Recent success stories: Joe Kendrick of Rancho Cordova, pictured got this 8.59 lb. Largemouth using spinner bait in Rattlesnake cove. Congratulations! ---Well Done!!

Pardee Lake Recreation has planted 11,000 lbs. of Rainbow Trout as of this morning. The California Department of Fish and Game has also planted 1,000 lbs. of Trout to date for a grand total of 12,000 lbs.
