Well Sportsmen,

I am back from my winter break. I just did my 1st trip and I returned with a bang. Fishing was pretty darn good today, as we had 2 keeper bass, one keeper sturgeon, one oversize sturgeon, we lost a good sturgeon and had to shaker sturgeon. There were also some other good quality bites that we did not hook up.

The best bait was eel and grass shrimp and just plain grass shrimp. Best bite was on the big outgoing tide near Garnet point. 90-year-old Van hooked and landed his 1st surgeon today and he also had a good sturgeon on but pulled hook. The oversized fish was 72 inches and put up a great fight. It jumped all the way out of the water. The keeper sturgeon went 58 inches. The bass were 22 and 19 inches It is good to be back on the water and I will be back out tomorrow at 9 AM.

Enjoy the photographs.
