Fellow Sportsmen,

Here is a quick update before I go to bed. The weather today was absolutely beautiful and the sturgeon are still biting. There are also a few bass biting. I'm finding good action above the mothball fleet near buoy 9 in shallow water. The bass are taking grass shrimp and the best bait for sturgeon has been eel, eel and grass combo nor just grass shrimp. Today Zach hooked his personal best sturgeon and had a great fight. The fish took him around the boat 3 times and just did not seem to want to give up. Finally he landed the fish and it went 56 inches and took eel and pile worm. Back out in the morning for some more fun and games. Enjoy the photos. Captain Steve Talmadge
